Everyone is looking for happiness and connection

One of the shortest way is to live a wholesome life!

Self-care is crucial. Whether it’s time to stop and breathe or exercise, we should always take the time to look after ourselves each day. Relaxation tools are important to have up our sleeves, but also massages, and herbs to calm the nervous system and support our adrenal glands. Healthy nutrition and wholesome food is primordial to our health as well as good rest and regular sleeps hours to help assist our circadian rhythm. Meditation can be found in various ways also. Sitting and breathing consciously is a traditional way but some find deep increase in awareness of the world around them simply by going surfing or hiking. Whatever works for you, make sure you apply these each day, even if it is only for 5 minutes!

When the mind is busy, our perspective of the world gets blurry and we can lose perspective of the whole picture. The monkey mind takes the driver’s seat and life can seem complicated when all we have to do is stop and remember that we are much more than just this body.

We are spirits having a human experience, not humans having a spiritual experience.

Meditation, chanting, yoga, tai-chi, as well as devotional practises can help us remember that our connection to what is greater than us is always accessible. By reconnecting to ourselves, we find greater purpose to our lives and deeper meaning to this human existence.

Time in Nature

Time in nature is also a express lane to relax, unplug, and reconnect.

We live in a busy world filled with noise, pollution and radiations. Making the conscious effort to take time out and spend time with Mother Earth will accelerate your wellbeing and optimise your mental health. Nothing like stepping out of the busy-ness of life to recentre and release the stress stored in your body. Laughing is also highly recommended as a daily dose!

Rites of passage were a way living for generations before they were suppressed and forgotten.

It is a birth right to celebrate milestones in one’s life and each celebration will bring more meaning and understanding of what it is like to grow up and become a healthy, respectful, and happy human.

In our society, we often celebrate important birthdays, weddings, and New Year’s Eves. Funerals are often seen as a tragedy, rather than a celebration of life. By reintegrating rites of passage such as Menarche (first menses), Blessing ways (meaningful baby showers), Birthday blessings, and Peri-Menopause, a woman’s life can feel entirely enriched by these experiences.

Every six weeks, we also have the opportunity to celebrate the Pagan festivals such as the solstices, equinoxes, and the sabats in between. These celebrations make sense as the Earth keeps turning and the seasons keep changing, so do we in our inner world and landscapes.

Life is a Miracle

Have you counted your blessings today?

It is so easy to focus on the so-called misfortunes that have happened in a day and the condition of the mind often stirs that way.

Count your blessings, each day, and each moment that is offered to you!

A gratitude diary is a great object to ad to your life and writing your morning pages is another way to meditate and get rid of the mental garbage that often clouds our minds.

To remind ourselves of the miracle of life itself and to shift our perceptions on all these events so we can see the bright side, but also learn our lessons along the way is crucial if we want to live our best life.
